Lily's Shower

So overwhelmingly blessed by the love of this community! Seriously am speechless.
Below are some photos of some amazing ladies who came out and lavished love on Lily! They spoke words of life to my soul which was so encouraging and humbling.

Its so hard not to be there knowing its a few weeks away.  This week we have a shower her on post, and I am so beyond grateful. I seriously can not even grasp what the Lord has done.

The Nerves and Waiting

Tuesday we sent off our next round of paperwork that will when its approved give us travel approval. We are so excited to say the very least. Right after the package was sent I was at praise team practice for PWOC and one of the songs we started with was It is Well.

What a beautiful blessing from my Lord to remind my heart that Lily is HIS child! Its his timing and to remember what He has done all along. Thank you my Father!

So often we forget of Gods faithfulness. Why is that? There has been many lessons the Lord has taught me over this period of waiting and trusting. One of the many is when I take my eyes and thoughts off the Lord that's when I forget. It comes back to the verse Phil 4:8-9 that the Lord is constantly reminding me of His peace. I pray my friends that your heart and thoughts would be focused on the Lord this day!


I will continue to write out the lessons the  Lord is showing and teaching. We will be blogging here while in China so you can follow the journey. A friend of mine is going to post on here from the email I send her.

LOA sent, and Visas (underway)

This week on Tuesday our next paperwork set was sent. There were two packets, one to the UCIS and the second was to our agency. Our agency will send all the info in with some other papers and that will get us our travel approval!!! WOOHOO!!! 

Today we went to Seoul to get our Visa's for China. (245 each) We were told we need to have a letter from China inviting us in. That letter will happen when we get our travel approval!!!! So, things are moving! 

We are going to try the travel agent on base and see if that works any better as we had some friends do that when they went! 

Thanks for praying! The time is closing in to get our daughter in our arms!

Waiting again!

Our hearts are so excited! We are awaiting our LOA, (letter of Acceptance). We have lots of paperwork that will happen close together from then on. It will be roughly 2 months from when we get our LOA. Please be in prayer for this process to go smoothly and quickly. We would love to be with her on her birthday in early August.

Thank you for joining us in this journey. There has been such redemption in the wait, but the wait is hard! God continues to refine our hearts in this waiting process.

We are beyond excited to get to our daughter. Our hearts long more and more with each day to be with her.
